SWCP Day 44 – 7 Oct 2018

Mevagissey – Charlestown

I’d decided to stay at the Eden Project YHA on the off chance that I could spend a few hours there, but the day was full of distractions.

First came a cream tea at Pentewan (because you really should buy something if you’re going to use a café’s loo) where I ran into a fellow loper from two days ago. We got to chatting and an hour was magically gone.

Then I got to chatting with a couple of ladies who offered me a lift to the Eden Project from their hotel in Charlestown. This was too good to pass up, but walking with them was much slower going, and then we grabbed an ice cream, and then we decided a drink was in order…

…you can see how this is going.

I finally did get to Eden just before closing time. And, having not walked as far as I intended, I wouldn’t be able to go the next day either.

I would probably make all the same decisions again if I had a do-over. Only with the benefit of hindsight would I race ahead.

Anyway, here’s some pics from the day…
