Boscastle – Tintagel
Today started with a visit to the Museum of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is no Harry Potter theme park. I kinda felt emotionally/mentally askew while I was in there. Fascinating to some extent, but that broad set of spiritualism is not for me.

Anyhoo! You can fix anything with a cream tea, right? I’m going with yes.
Thus bolstered, I said farewell to lovely Boscastle.

After yesterday’s efforts I wasn’t underestimating the 7.6 km ‘moderate’ distance I had to traverse to Tintagel, even if I was starting out after the noon hour. Plus, for some reason it felt like I’d packed a few of the rocks I was stumbing over. All 7.6 of those kilometers felt like a trial.
None of that detracted from the beauty of the landscape, and the nice little interludes that happen when you run across fellow lopers on the path. Comparing experiences and offering future advice is a path tradition. I came across many a chatty passer-by. I didn’t get any pics of them, but here’s a selection of the day’s delights…

This last pic is of Merlin’s Cave. Mind the rising tide!
Stats: 20507 steps; 178 floors; 12.54 km.
