Tintagel to Treyarnon
Having stayed two nights at Tintagel, I had to make up some geography, so I caught a bus close to Rock, then the ferry across to Padstow, where – thanks to the lovely couple sitting opposite me in the ferry – I learned Rick Stein had his flagship The Seafood Restaurant. Having discussed my travels, they told me about their lunch booking, and we all happily agreed to envy the other (though I’m not sure they were sincerely envious about hauling the beast).
So, sans booking, I picked up the coast path again.
After being presented with many paths, and finally coming to a decision…

…I had these to wow over…
…this to be wary of…
…and these other things to appreciate…
…when I finally arrived at Treyarnon YHA (building on the right in below pic), I dropped the beast, raced (hobbled swiftly) down to the beach, and stuck my feet into the freezing, cold water (remember Luigi the clown’s advice?).
